Bengaluru: Deadline for grant-in-aid for ISEA2PoC-ELEVATE extended till Jan 1

Bengaluru, Dec 23: In response to overwhelming interest and to accommodate the needs of aspiring start-ups, the Department of Electronics, IT, BT, S&T, has extended the extension of the application deadline for its flagship Idea2PoC-ELEVATE (Grant-in-Aid) programme.

The new deadline for submitting applications is now January 1, 2024 from the earlier deadline of December 23, 2023.

The Idea2PoC/ELEVATE scheme was launched by the Department of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T, to identify and nurture innovative start-ups and to provide them the necessary boost at various stages through funding or mentoring. A one-time grant of up to Rs 50 lac is given to encourage innovators who may need early-stage funding to develop a prototype, market development, and scale-up. The aim of the initiative is to provide a comprehensive entrepreneurship platform for startups along with giving access to mentors, networking opportunities, funds, idea validation, incubation facilities, among others.

These contributions across sectors is a catalyst for the development of start-ups.

The Idea2PoC-ELEVATE, designed to foster innovation and support emerging businesses, has garnered substantial attention from the start-up community.

Recognising the importance of providing ample time for as many start-ups to prepare and submit their applications, the decision to extend the deadline has been taken. The Department aims to ensure inclusivity and maximize participation through this decision.

Start ups across diverse sectors are encouraged to take advantage of this extended timeframe to craft comprehensive applications that showcase their unique contributions and potential impact. The programme offers a significant opportunity for selected start-ups to receive support, mentorship, and resources to accelerate their growth.
