Mangaluru, Dec 25: In a dazzling display of talent, 3 skaters Dashiel Amanda Concessao, Muhammad Shamil Arshad and Daniel Salvadore Concessao from Hi-Flyers Skating Club brought home laurels for Mangaluru at the 61st national roller skating championship held in Chennai from December 15 to 25.

The team secured an impressive haul of 4 golds, 5 silvers, and one bronze, showcasing their prowess on the national stage. Dashiel emerged as a standout performer, clinching 3 silvers, while Shamil added to the glory with a silver and a bronze in individual events. The relay events witnessed Dashiel securing 2 golds in the mixed and girls’ categories, while Shamil claimed 2 golds in the mixed and boys’ categories. Daniel contributed to the medal tally with a silver in the boy’s category.

The exceptional achievements of these skaters reflect not only their dedication but also the rigorous training provided by their coaches, Mohandas K and Jayaraj.
