Kundapur: Vikasitha Bharath Sankalpa Yahtra inaugurated at Gopadi

Kundapur, Dec 26: “In 2047 a century will be complete after Indian attained Independence. With the vision that every citizen of the country should live in self-respect and freedom during that time, PM Modi has flagged off Vikasita Bharath Sankalp Yathra,” said Kirana Kumar Kodgi, MLA of Kundapur legislative constituency.

Kodgi spoke after inaugurating the eighth day of Vikasita Bharatha Sankalp Yathra that was held at the campus of Gopadi.

Former minister and leader of opposition of Karnataka Legislative council Kota Srinivasa Poojary said, “People of India heaved a sigh of relief after Narendra Modi led BJP attained power in the country. Modi has done what the Congress did not do in the past 70 years. Vikasita Bharatha Sankalpa Yathra is important in that direction.”

Gopadi gram panchayat president Suresh Shetty administered the Sankalpa oath. Manager of Lead bank gave information on the facilities people will get for welfare from the bank. Gopadi gram panchayat president Suresh Shetty presided over the function. Ramachandra D M, Kundapur postal inspector, Dr Dhananjaya, senior scientist of Brahmavar agricultural centre, Prashant, Gopady union bank manager, Mithra Sujanmala, were present.

Modi’s speech was observed with regards to pro-people schemes. Later demonstration of spraying pesticides to crop was viewed by public.

Gopady gram panchayat CEO Ganesh P compered the event and rendered vote of thanks. Udupi Lead Bank manager Pinjara did the introductory speech.
