Kasargod: Christmas celebrated at Ukkinadka Church

Kasargod, Dec 26: A Christmas evening programme was held under the joint auspices of pastoral parish council and Catholic Sabha Astiladka unit on Christmas Day in the surroundings of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Astiladaka. Fr Sunil Miranda presided. Principal of St Vincent Pallotti PUC College Bengaluru Fr Andrew Roshan Alva, Ferla Hombelaku Tuition Center principal Kishore Kumar Rai Sheni, MP International School Periadka principal Abdul Jalil were present.

Fr Lawrence D'Souza, principal of Sacred Heart Loyola School Shivamogga, Elizabeth Crasta, vice president of Kumbdaje gram panchayat, Jyoti Karyad, member of Badiyadka gram panchayat, Ramla Ibrahim, member of Enmakje gram panchayat, Raju John D'Souza, president of Catholic Sabha Kasargod zone, ICYM Kasargod zone president Kumari Jesmita Monteiro, 21 Commission coordinator Paul D'Souze, pastoral parish council vice president Joel Monteiro, and Catholic Sabha unit president Elias D'Souze were present on the stage.

Amit D'Souza, secretary of the Catholic Sabha, welcome Sarini Krasta, secretary of Igarjina Palan Samiti, gave the vote of thanks. Asha Crasta, Nassy D'Souza and Sandhya D'Souza anchored the event followed by a cultural programme.
