Udupi: Yuva Nidhi scheme poster unveiled

Udupi, Dec 27: “The deserving people should apply for the Yuva Nidhi scheme launched by the government for the growth and welfare of youth and benefit from it,” said deputy commissioner Dr K Vidyakumari.

She was speaking after unveiling the Yuva Nidhi scheme poster released by the department of skill development, entrepreneurship and livelihood.

“Registration for the Yuva Nidhi scheme launched by the government for the bright future of the youth has started. Students who have passed degree or diploma courses in 2023 and who do not have government or private company jobs or are not self-employed can submit their applications. The applications can be submitted through the Seva Sindhu app by those who have not continued their higher education and residing in the state,” she said.

Zilla panchayat CEO Prasanna H, additional deputy commissioner Mamata Devi G S, spokesperson Manjunath B, district skill development officer Arun and district employment exchange department staff Prathviraj were present.
