No positive cases registered in Udupi district, says Dr I P Gadhada

Udupi, Dec 27: “No positive cases have been registered in Udupi district," said Dr I P Gadhada, Udupi DHO.

Dr I P Gadhada, Udupi DHO, stating his concern regarding the COVID, said, “There is no need of worrying about the COVID. Elderly, sick people and people with low immunity should take precautions. If any symptoms are found, please visit the nearest health centre immediately.

“As large numbers of nursing and medicine students are coming from Kerala state, more surveillance should be taken on those coming from Kerala state. Ayyappa Swamy devotees coming to Udupi from Kerala will be monitored,” he said.

He requested everyone to get tested if any symptoms of cough, cold or flu are found.
