Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Dec 28: A police team led by Bajpe sub-inspector Kumareshan apprehended Imran Ibrahim (24) and Nasir alias Nachi (26) on December 27 at Daddi check-post in Tenka Edapadavu village. The duo, residents of Padukonaje and Kallabettu villages respectively, were arrested on charges of stealing cows from various locations in Mangaluru using a car.

The police operation resulted in the confiscation of a blue Swift car valued at Rs 10 lac, a white Ritz car, and other equipment believed to have been used in the cattle thefts.

The accused were caught during routine vehicle checks ordered by Bajpe sub-inspector Sandeep. The arrests followed a case filed at Bajpe police station, where two cows and a calf, owned by Chandan Upadhyaya from Kinnimajalu in Badaga Edapadavu village, were reported stolen and slaughtered by unidentified individuals.

In response to this incident, a special team has been formed to apprehend suspected individuals residing in Todar, Handelu, Ulaibettu, and Gantalkatte areas.

This is a very bad stealing job which will have no pardon from any God... When they are stealing cattle they are killing the livelihood of a poor family... Who takes care of cows nowadays???... Only those who most need them for any money they can earn to survive for the day... Worldly courts may leave these thugs lightly... But their heartlessness will be properly deal with when they face the real trial....
