Mangaluru, Dec 28: On the occasion of constipation awareness month, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital (YNYSCH) organized events such as teleconsultation, e-poster competition and series of guest lectures.

The valedictory function was held on December 27. Dr Arun Thejaus K P, assistant professor and incharge of the Nitte Centre for Integrative Medicine and Resreach at Nitte (Deemed to be University), was chief guest the spoke on the importance of gut microbes for human life.

Dr Habib, medical superintendent, Yenepoya Medical College, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) in this address stressed on the importance of constipation awareness month. Dr Puneeth, in-charge principal Yenepoya Naturopathy College and Hospital mention the role naturopathy doctors in treating constipation.

Dr Padmashree, associate professor and Ajith K, assistant professor, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science were the organizing secretaries for these programmes. Tejaswini and Fasi welcomed the gatherings. Namita hosted the programme. All the batch of BNYS as witnessed the programme.
