Anonymous email threatens to blow up Mangaluru International Airport

Mangaluru, Dec 28: The international airport authorities here on Tuesday midnight received an alarming email from an anonymous sender threatening to blow up the airport.

The email was received at 23.59 hrs on Tuesday. It is said that similar emails were received at multiple airports.

The email from ‘xonocikonoci10@beeble.com’ said, “There are explosives inside of one of your planes. But also inside of your airport. The explosives are well hidden, and they will go off in a few hours. I will kill you all. WE ARE A TERRORIST GROUP CALLED; ‘Funing’.

The message was noticed on Wednesday December 27 at 11.20 hrs by the airport authorities.

Following the message, the security outside the airport premises was tightened, additional checkposts were set-up, and the necessary checks were immediately carried out. A coordination meeting was also held with airport authorities attended by police inspector of Bajpe.

Subsequently, on complaint of Adani airport authorities, an FIR was registered after taking court permission at Bajpe police station.

    This kind of nuisance should be dealt strictly and they should be punished like criminals. We are a drug capital now and with the influence of drugs anything is possible. There are no serious and sincere efforts to deal with drug mafia..

    real kujuma...ofcourse I remember that BJP governments inaction. At the same time Congress also doing the same and they too are protecting the criminals belonging to particular religion. BJP and Congress are two sides of same coin.

    This is all jokulata.Childrens play.Someone must have drunk a glas too much.Nowadays such mails are normal .Should have written back will build new Airport if old airport is blown up.Many people have no job sit on computer and start sending mails .Am sure one day he will be caught and blow him up then.Idiots
