Kasargod, Dec 28: “The genocide taking place in Palestine has never been witnessed earlier. This is not a war. It is a one-sided violent aggression carried out by the military,” stated CPI(M) national general secretary Sitaram Yechury."

He was addressing a gathering after inaugurating the Palestinian Unity Conference organized by the CPI(M) district committee in the outskirts of Kasargod city on Thursday.

“The acts of violence being carried out by Israel cannot be forgiven even today. Israel must come forward for a ceasefire. Narendra Modi is silent on Israel. This goes against our foreign policy,” said Yechury.

Udma MLA C H Kunhambu, CPI(M) district secretary M V Balakrishnan Master, state committee member K P Sathishchandra, V P P Musthafa, CPI(M) leader K V Krishna, former MP P Karunakaran, district panchayat president Baby Balakrishnan, vice-chairman Shahnawaz, Kerala Muslim Jamaat state secretary N Ali Abdulla, Hussain Madavoor, prominent leader from the opposition Karim Chandar, Hamid Haji, Ananthan Nambiar, Sanni Araman, and others addressed the gathering.
