Kundapur, Dec 28: AC Rashmi S R took charge as the new administrative officer of Sri Mookambika Devasthanam in Kollur on Thursday December 28. Prashant Shetty, the executive officer of the temple, handed over the official responsibilities to Rashmi.

The tenure of the temple management committee has concluded, and the authority previously held by Keradi Chandrashekhar Shetty, who served as the chairman of the management committee, has now been transferred to RSM, the sub-divisional officer of the government and the department of religious and charitable endowments in Kundapur.

Keradi Chandrashekhar Shetty said, “The former chairman of the Kollur temple management committee, had initiated the formation of a new management committee six months ago, and according to its structure, the term of the management committee had to be extended for another six months by the government. In Golihole, approval had been granted for the construction of a byre, and the opportunity to construct it systematically had become available. However, there was no benefit in bringing it to the attention of those concerned.”
