Mangaluru, Dec 30: In a high-stake cheque dishonour case, accused Siddi Ganapathi has been acquitted by the JMFC IV Court in the city. The complainant Santhosh also brother of Siddi Ganapathi had alleged that the Siddi Ganapathi issued a cheque of Rs 1,00,00,000 for a share in the family property, a claim vehemently denied by the accused. The JMFC IV Court here presided over by Parvathi C M, delivered a decisive acquittal judgment.
Advocate B Jinendra Kumar and his team strategic defence dismantled the complainant's case, it was argued that accused is the absolute owner of the disputed property, challenged the authenticity of the alleged cheque and disputed the due to the tune of Rs1,00,00,000 as on the date of alleged issuance of cheque.
