Bellary, Sep 11: A week after former Karnataka tourism minister Janardhana Reddy was arrested by the CBI officials for his alleged involvement in the mining Obulapuram mining scam, CBI sleuths on Sunday September 11 raided the houses of two of his close aides.

The CBI team led by superintendent of police Venkatesh from Hyderabad raided the houses of Gurulinge Gowda, chairman of the Bellary Urban Development Authority (BUDA) in Renukacharya Nagara and Rajashekara Gowda, a gram panchayat member and confidant of Reddy.

Several documents were seized by the team, it is learnt.

More such raids are on the cards, sources said.

Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law Srinivas Reddy were arrested after a surprise raid by the CBI in Bellary on September 5. The same day the two were taken to Hyderabad where the court sent them to 14-day judicial custody.

    Politician's looting of national wealth
    is very alarming. More gold
and crores of Rs. would be found
later on. None of these politicians should be permitted to enjoy the ill-gotten wealth, but only to enjoy rice-sambar-chutney
dish in jails for the rest of their
    life.

Annaji was in Bangalore and did not say a word against the BJP goverment nor he is commenting on the death of his supporter Shehla Masood who was murdered in Madya Pradesh. It makes me think that Anna wants to target only the Central goverment and not the states nor he wants to talk against BJP who are also no better than congress in corruption see how the Uttarkhand CM was changed. The credit should go to CBI and not Anna.
