Moodbidri, Jan 1: Somesha (54), a resident of Kayargundi in Prantya village, tragically took his own life by hanging in the shed near his house on Saturday. He leaves behind his wife, son, and two daughters.
Somesha was an active member of the BJP and had previously served as the president of the administrative committee of Kodangallu Mahamayi Temple. Despite his contributions, he faced defeat twice in town municipality elections.
The exact reason for this extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
