Kasargod, Jan 1: A distressing incident unfolded in Adka near Bandiyodu, where a 19-year-old girl was found hanging in her flat.

Rehna Fatima, daughter of Badruddin, is the deceased.

Rehna Fatima went to sleep on Saturday night, and her absence was noticed by the family the next morning. Alarmed, the family conducted a search and found a room bolted from the inside. Upon breaking the door, they discovered Rehna Fatima hanging from a fan.

Police have been informed about allegations of harassment by a young man, prompting them to initiate an investigation. Rehna Fatima's mobile has been secured by the police for further examination.

    Sad that parents suffered their daughter's death. Mother could have gone with her instead of saying her no. Some young children don't grasp their parents' guidance, thus it's important for parents to understand their children.

    Sorry ,why did girls sometimes dont understand why Parents dont allow.When she should take it so seriously when parents say no is also ok She could go next time.Many times this foto shooting will end quite different as they tell.Afterall she is young .Need not immediately go suicide for not allowing is also a stupidity or she is not with her 21 years not mature?Or is a threat to parents from present generation ?Hard for parents to digest this.Heartfelt sympathy to the family.What did she gain out of it?Girls please dont make your parents sad but understand somehow why they say no.or try to make them understand instead of immediately hang to fan.Tragody.

    very sad..women and girls should dress modestly and save the society from indulging into bad things...Men are known to womanize...so her parents stopped her..but she did not recognize their goodness..

    May her soul RIP. She decided to end her life not because she was not allowed for photoshoot. She may have suffered harassment and abuse from her parents for many years.
