Udupi, Jan 2: A man accidentally fell into the sea at Malpe port, accompanied by his scooter, and is currently missing. The unfortunate incident took place on Monday January 1.
The individual, reportedly hailing from Tamil Nadu, works as a labourer on one of the fishing boats.
Diving expert Eshwar Malpe promptly arrived at the scene and conducted a search for the man in the water.
Unfortunately, he was unable to locate the individual, though the scooter was successfully retrieved from the water with the assistance of a rope.
