Udupi, Jan 2: Around 12:30 am on December 31, a group of approximately seven to 10 individuals arrived in cars and two-wheelers, driving recklessly on V S Acharya Road between Manipal Syndicate Circle and Coin Circle.
Manipal police station's SI Raghavendra C, who was on patrol duty at the time, witnessed the group screaming and dancing on the road.
The unruly behaviour of the gang not only caused public nuisance but also led to traffic obstruction on the road.
A case has been filed in connection with the incident at the Manipal police station.
