Dubai: ‘Daiji Dubai’ Invites Nominations for Literary Awards

Dubai, Sep 12: Literary organization ‘Daiji Dubai’ has invited nominations of veteran Konkani litterateurs who have made extraordinary contributions to mother tongue Konkani for the ‘Daiji Dubai Literary Award – 2011’.  The organization has been conferring the award since the past 12 years to recognize the distinguished service of Konkani litterateurs.
 
Veteran litterateurs are urged to forward their applications stating their name, contact address, e-mail ID, telephone or mobile number, and copies of their literary works to the address given below.  Entries can be recommended along with respective details.  The last date to receive entries is October 31.  The award winners will be announced by the end of December.
 
The award comprises cash of Rs 50,000, a citation letter, and memento.
