Dubai: Jamathul Muslimeen Nagoor Organises Eid Milan Programme

Dubai, Sep 12: It was a happy get together by Jamathul Muslimeen Nagoor UAE during the Eid Milan programme recently, at Golden Square Hotel, Deira- DUBAI at 4.30 pm.

The Eid Milan programme was scheduled along with the annual general body meeting. The programme started with the Quran recitation by Zayeed M H followed with the annual report presented by secretary Mohammed Yusuf.

Momin Nisar has presided over the function.

Mohammed Yousuf in his report dealt in detail regarding the activities of Jamathul Muslimeen during the period 2009-2011.

President Muhammad Gouse N G gave a brief description about the social activities, its financial assistance in school fee to needy students of the Nagoor Jamath, distribution of Eid kits and Fitra to the needy, financial help rendered for marriage purpose and emergency financial help for the accident victims.

Muhammad Gouse in his presidential address thanked all the office-bearers, committee members and all the jamath members for their wholehearted support in serving the community during his period. He also requested the members to continue their support in assisting the needy.

A new committee with 25 members has been formed for the period 2011 -2012 with Momin Muhammad Arief as president and Sadath Hussain as general secretary. In addition to the present social activities, a decision has been taken to provide free transport facility to the student of Urdu school Nagoor - Kundapur.

Dinner was arranged for all the participants.

The newly-elected committee secretary Sadath Hussain thanked all the attendees, members and hotel staff and management for extending their support to the programme and making it a grand success.
