Beltangady, Jan 4: A collision occurred between a pick-up truck and a KSRTC bus near the petrol pump at Malady Kolpedabailu on Wednesday.
The collision happened in an area where highway construction is underway. Mud had been deposited in the middle of the road, and the rain had made it slippery.
Several drivers struggled to control their vehicles, and numerous two-wheeler riders slipped in the slimy conditions, resulting in minor injuries.
As a consequence, traffic remained disrupted for over an hour.
