Mangaluru, Jan 4: Incessant rains have led to knee-high water accumulation on NH 66 near Kotekar Beeri, posing a significant danger to motorists.

Since Thursday morning, many two-wheeler riders have been forced to take risks due to the water stagnation. The accumulation is particularly problematic when traveling from Talapady to Thokottu, as there is a lack of proper drainage for rainwater to flow.

The public is urgently calling on the NH maintenance contractor to take immediate action to address this hazardous situation.
