Udupi: Kannarpady temple to offer huge Horekanike for Puttige Paryaya celebration

Udupi, Jan 5: A meeting was held in connection of offering Horekanike to Puttige Paryaya from Kannarpadi Jayadurgaparameshwari temple and nearby villagers.

Convener of Paryaya Horekanike Suprasad Shetty gave the details of Horekanike. He also said that lac of devotees are expected to arrive in Udupi for the Paryaya this year from all over the world and requested to organized huge Horekanike for Annadana.

Gangadhar Rao reciprocated to the request of Suprasad and said that the Horekanike procession should move systematically. Jayaprakasha Kedlaya requested cooperation of people living around the temple.

Chief of the temple Raghavendra Bhat welcomed and compered the meeting. Ravindra Acharya, Raghupati Rao and eminent personalities of the area were present.
