Mangalore University secures 2 national gold medals at National MMA Amateur Championship

Mangaluru, Jan 5: Two students from Mangalore University participated and represented the University in the National MMA Amateur Championship 2023 held in Mumbai.

Sayed Anwar Hussaini, a PhD student from the department of MBA, won 4 matches and secured the first position (gold medal) and a cash prize of Rs  25,000.

 

Ghawsudin, who is studying MA in English in Mangalagangotri secured the first position in the debut fight category.

Both were practiced and trained in the Managalaganagotri gymnasium centre, Managalagangotri, Konaje.
