Puttur: Bus overturns at Shiradi, four injured

Puttur, Jan 8: Four people got injured as a bus got overturned at Shiradi near Uppinangady in the taluk on Saturday.

The private bus was carrying passengers from Bengaluru to Mangaluru. As it reached petrol pump near Shiradi on highway, the driver lost control over the bus and the vehicle overturned and fell on the highway.

Ilyas (30), resident of Sakleshpur, Mohammed Rashiq (19), conductor Mustafa and the bus driver got injured. They were admitted to hospital.

Uppinangady police registered a case in this connection.
