Daijiworld Media Network – Bantwal (MS)

Bantwal, Jan 9: Thieves recently targeted the store room and office of the head teacher at Kodapadavu Government School. The Vittal police conducted an inspection of the premises to assess the situation.

Upon inspection, it was discovered that the store room housed food items meant for the school's mid-day meals. The thieves had broken the locks on both the head teacher's office and the store room. It is suspected that the perpetrators might have fled upon hearing the sound of a vehicle, as reported by Ummer Farookh, the president of the School Development and Monitoring Committee (SDMC).

Local gram panchayat member Arshad Kukkila, along with members of the old students’ association Hasainar Talithanooji and Farukh Bonyakukku, provided information about the theft to the police. The incident is currently under investigation by the Vittal police.
