Kundapura, Jan 9: “Bearys educational institutions will be hosting cultural programmes pronouncing peace to the world, celebrating founders’ day and anniversary on January 14 at 10 am. The newly constructed knowledge campus will be inaugurated and the new banner of Bearys Group of Institutes will be unveiled,” said K M Abdul Rehman, president of Bearys Group of Institutes.

He was speaking in a news conference held at Kundapura Press Club. “Karnataka Legislative Assembly speaker U T Khader, minister H K Patil and Kundapura MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi will participate as chief guests. Well-known environmentalist Padmashree Talasi Gowda and recipient of Karnataka Rajyotsava award, Muslim Education Institute Federation president Moosabba P Beary will be felicitated,” he said.


Professor Hayavadanna Upadhya said that a small school under the grass roof and walls introduced the knowledge of alphabets in 1906.

“The subsidiaries of the school under the presidentship of late Haji Master Mehmood paved the way for educating students in the village and outside. The institute under the leadership of Haji K M Abdul Rehman Beary has made great progress in education. The swatcha Kadala Theera – Hasiru Kodi campaign being held every month with concern of the environment has completed 28 levels,” he said.

Bearys educational institute principal Siddappa K S and Bearys Pre-University College principal Dr Shameer were present.
