Sullia: Names on Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration banner defaced

Sullia, Jan 15: In a disheartening incident at Sonangeri Market, miscreants targeted a banner expressing good wishes for the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The banner prominently displayed the names of individuals, and maliciously, black ink was applied to obscure 14 out of the 15 names listed on the lower section.

This act follows a recent incident in Sullia city, where an Ayodhya wishes banner was also vandalized. MP Nalin Kumar and MLA Bhagirathi Murulya took the lead in organizing a protest, urging the police to apprehend the perpetrator. Subsequently, it was revealed that the act was committed by an individual struggling with mental health issues.

Adding to the distress, another similar banner was torn in Adkar a few days later.
