Appointments to Boards, Corporations shortly
The KPCC chief said the list of appointments to Boards and Corporations will be a Sankranthi gift to the partymen. “The list of appointments to boards and corporations can be out any moment. There is no question of delaying the appointments any further. All promises made during elections regarding roles for party workers will be kept,’’ he said.
Answering questions on Uttara Kannada BJP MP Ananth Kumar Hegde who was speaking against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in singular terms, Shivakumar said: "Ananth kumar Hegde is not stable and needs immediate treatment.’’
“No one with sane mind will talk like that. It is a good thing that his leaders have understood what he said was wrong. Ananth Kumar Hegde has to take care of his health,’’ he said.

The deputy chief minister extended his greetings to the people on the occasion of the Makara Sankranti. “I pray for good rains and crops this year. More than 220 taluks have been declared drought-hit this year. I pray that lives of farmers improve this year,’’ he added.
