Kasargod: Aboobacker Siddique murder - Accused on the run for 2 years surrenders

Kasargod, Jan16: Abdul Razak (29), a resident of Arikkadi Kanchikatte, accused in the murder case of Aboobacker Siddique, has surrendered at the Kasargod court after being on the run for two years.

The murder took place two years ago when a gang abducted gulf-returnee Aboobacker Siddique at Paivalike. The assailants tied, assaulted, and killed the victim before fleeing the scene, leaving the lifeless body near Bandiyod hospital.

Among the 11 individuals accused in the murder, Razak had been evading arrest until his recent surrender.

Manjeshwar police have taken him into custody for further questioning.
