Kundapura, Jan 17: "The problems of pending title deeds will be solved soon," said minister of women's and children's development, empowerment of differently abled and senior citizens and Udupi district in charge minister Lakshmi R Hebbalkar. She was speaking during the distribution of title deeds at Kundapur taluk panchayat auditorium on Wednesday.

“More than a thousand people have not received title deeds in Kundapur. The problems should be solved before the election code of conduct is enforced for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” she told the officials.

"The issue of title deeds will be resolved under the leadership of local MLA across the party at grama panchayat level. Authority is not important for elected representatives. They should grow the mentality of solving the problems of the poor,” she said.

"I am fortunate to be the minister in-charge of Udupi district. The district has its own specialities,” she said.

MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi, Byndoor MLA Gururaj Gantihole, MLC Manjunath Bhandary and deputy commissioner Dr Vidyakumari were present.
