Kasargod: Toddler playing in house yard attacked by pack of stray dogs; admitted to hospital

Kasaragod, Jan 18: A kennel of stray dogs attacked a one-and-a-half-year old child playing in the yard here. This incident happened at Padanna, Kasaragod. This pack of dogs attacked and dragged away the child.

The victim was Bashir, the child of Fabina and Sulaiman, residents of Padanna Vadakkepurath, Mannathi.

The dogs fled after people of the house arrived and on hearing the screams of the child. The child was immediately admitted to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital.

It is said that two other dogs have also bitten two children and a woman in the nearby vicinity. They too have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

    Reason is CLEAR.Earlier days WASTE FOOD are thrown in GARBAGES are available for Dogs.but now Swacha Bharat garbages collected directly from Hotels.

    Nobody wants to take responsibility. Govt says people have to stop feeding the dogs. People want the dogs to be caught and sent to shelter. Maneka says just operate on them. This is like lane traffic which no one follows. People don't follow because lane traffic is not enforced. Govt does enforce because people don't follow.
