Udupi, Jan 18: "One day Sanatana Dharma will rule the world. In the name of secularism, a single community is pleased, but we are ready for any sacrifice in the upcoming days. We will become Vishwaguru," said Basanagouda Yatnal, MLA and BJP leader.
He was addressing the gathering at the evening darbar programme held on the occasion of Puttige Paryaya. "Udupi Puttige seer has ascended Sarvajna peetha for the fourth time. He has taken Hindutva across the ocean and has proved 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.' Accusations and allegations will always be there. I'm experimenting in the field of politics with speaking straightforwardly. Before the ending of this Paryaya, we are hoping for the solving of the Mathura issue and Kashi temple. We are hoping to get it through the court itself," he added.
Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji, of Paryaya Puttige Math, in his blessings said, "Reaching the highest point in whatever work or responsibility we do is the message of Bhagavad Gita. The message of Bhagavad Gita is required for the whole world. We have designed this darbar based on the principles of Bhagavad Gita. We have invited achievers from all the fields and will facilitate them. Sri Krishna in Bhagavad Gita has clearly said that He is behind all the achievers of this world. Thus based on this principle, we have selected achievers from various fields. Some might wonder why people from cinema, sports are invited to religious programmes. But as per the principles of Sri Krishna, He himself has been behind these achievers of film and sports arena. The current incarnation of Sri Krishna is very special. Rama - Krishna incarnation didn't come for any particular person or field; these two incarnations are related to all fields. Sri Krishna is in every field, no matter which field we select to excel. He sets an example. Krishna says the achiever should not concentrate on his personal benefits. Bhagavad Gita never says to perform only yaga and yajnas; it says to reach the highest point in whatever work or responsibility we perform. Bhagavad Gita is relevant to every individual no matter what field they come from. We have selected achievers from all religions, and we believe that the message of Bhagavad Gita is required for all persons across religions. The message is not concerned just with Indians or Hindus; it is related to the whole world.
