Mangaluru, Jan 19: An anti-drug team, led by ACP Dhanya Nayak, successfully apprehended Siyamu (26), a resident of Chembugudde, who was involved in the illegal transportation of narcotics. During the operation near the grounds of Kallapu Unity Hall, the team confiscated 1.05 grams of MDMA drug.
This arrest follows the formation of the anti-drug team, which has so far registered 65 cases, including four significant cases. Six individuals have been arrested and subsequently sent to prison. The police seized a substantial quantity of Ganja, MDMA, and LSD, amounting to lacs of rupees.
The case related to this incident has been registered at the Ullal police station, highlighting the commitment of law enforcement to combat the illicit drug trade.
The operation was conducted under the leadership of ACP Dhanya Nayak, with the active involvement of inspector Balakrishna, Ullal PSI Dhanraj, Shaju Nair, Mahesh, Akbar Yadrami, and Naveen K P.
