Udupi MLA urges students to take self-leave on Jan 22 for Ayodhya Rama Temple inauguration

Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi

Udupi, Jan 20: In observance of the historic day of the consecration ceremony at the Ayodhya Sri Rama Temple on January 22, Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna has urged students, the general public, and government employees in Udupi to take self-leave, as the state government has not declared any public holiday on the day.

The MLA has extended this request for self-leave on the significant day when the consecration ceremony of the Sri Rama idol at the Ayodhya temple is scheduled to take place.

He said, “Under the leadership of Siddaramaiah's government, the state government has consistently been at the forefront, leading the way for the minority community through its anti-Hindu approach. In alignment with the sentiments of the entire Hindu society, Karnataka has been actively participating in the dream realization of Ayodhya's Sri Rama Temple over many centuries. However, the Karnataka state government, in contrast to several other states, has maintained a silence on accepting a half-day leave from the central government.

“All the Rama devotees in the state are urged to take this auspicious moment that has occurred in their lifetime to actively participate in the joyous occasion and receive the grace of Lord Rama,” he said.

The MLA has affirmed his commitment to stand with students and government employees in taking any legal actions against educational institutions and departments that go against the directive of allowing self-leave for this sacred day.

If it was in any other country like Japan, Taiwan or Korea, the politician would have said that this is the dawn of a new beginning for the nation, and so students should sincerely put in their best efforts at school on this day and to invoke Lord Rama's blessings for their future careers by sincerely dedicating this day to their studies, instead of taking self-leave....,. But alas, we live in a country ruled by idiots and sadly those who voted for these idiots are also no better...lol

Some of the students already taking self-leave and enjoying , now instead of studying more they will enjoying in the name of Lord Rama. Lord Rama.is universal God, not only for students and Government staff. Our politicians and leaders are uneducated and illiterate. Can't help. I appreciate if Government is going to stop everything on 22nd ,and leave for everyone. Nobody is following Lord Rama's teachings.

In an effort for gain political mileage.., the Apex Court with the evidence provided by the Archeological department functioning under the dictats of Union Govt of the day... produced evidence that the Disputed (alledgedly known as Babri Masjid) was built after demolishing Lord Rama's temple.., by doing so the new half built structure (not worthy of calling it as Temple as the sanctum sanctorum(ಗರ್ಭಗುಡಿ ಕಲಶ)is still not built..., does it amounts to temple (as per Shankaracharya's it is like a human without his head)

@Ramesh....Who destroyed what was visible in 1992... But your Supreme Court couldnt prove that Babar had destroyed temple and replaced it with Masjid....... So dont fall victim of Sanghi distorted history whose great grandfathers too were not alive 500 years ago to give any proof what exactly happened... It all began in 1947 by bunch of few Sanghi idiots to polarise the environment..... And finally to say, no power on earth is permanent....

@ ahmed Unfortunate you people have general knowledge of Indian History only this much , I dont wish to go into all the details, Read biography "An Indian I am " by Padma Shri K K Muhammed or check his videos on youtube he has narrated in detail about all the Excavation by ASI ( Archeological Survey of India) , he was the Regional Director of ASI , He has mentioned clearly during their survey they found several pillars and many artefacts of Hindu Temple below Babri masjid & also a huge "Makara Pranala" do you know what it is ?, Based on all the evidence and reports by ASI Supreme court of India gave the verdict .

So according to you Nitin, Your birthplace is sold, after 500 years his ancestors can claim that land. The question here is not understand is that where is the birth place of Ram's brother Laxman? KK Mohammed is a paid propogandist? Can we bring the argument of others to prove it wasn't the birth place? To worship lord Ram we don't need to destroy a place of worship, here it was all for politics and now politics is happening because LS election is near. We don't need to be in Ayodhya to pray, lord Ram resides in us, be good to people. In this case, there are many temples in Indonesia preserved by Muslims and it is 95% Muslim population and they have the right to twist everything and destroy temples isn't? No Muslim rulers invaded Indonesia.

@Shekar , it's the first time I am hearing Ayodhya was sold, who sold it to Babur ? , are you aware muslim rulers in Indian and Europe would destroy 90% of the temple/ church and reconstruct using same material to build a mosque, 10% is left to remind hindus that it belonged to you long ago, look at gyanvapi mosque walls , before I continue read Daijiworlds article of today evening g about K K Mohammed then we will continue our discussion 😄

Nitin, Muslim rulers ruled India for 700 years, by your logic no Hindus nor temples would have been in India. Before you disgrace yourself in a public domain, read history not from Nagpur historians. You need a Muslim to hold on to your argument. If a country is invaded by a ruler, it belongs to them. So as per you India has only 10% of temples. Go and get some sleep first or ask your Nagpur historians come with actual facts, not narratives suites their agenda.
