Uttarkhand, Jan 21: Radhika Jha, who got a high paying job at the Tata group quit the same and cracked the UPSC with high rank of All India Ranking (AIR) of 15.
Radhika is currently serving as the secretary of health and medical education, investment commissioner in the government of Uttarkhand. She secured AIR-15 in the UPSC examinations held in 2002.
Radhika graduated in psychology from Lady Sri Ram college of Delhi. In the year 2000, she completed her masters in Industrial and Organisational psychology from Delhi University. She got selected from campus and worked for Tata group as TAS officer for more than a year. However, her inclination to become an IAS officer was so strong that she quit the job and cracked the UPSC in her first attempt itself.
While serving as an IAS officer also Radhika took a break and studied public policy from the London School of Economics on a Chevening scholarship. She has got 3,563 followers on her 'X' (formerly Twitter) account and is not very active on social media.
