Sullia, Jan 27: A considerable number of trekkers made their way to the Kumaraparvata mountain range near Subramanya in the taluk on Friday, taking advantage of the ongoing series of holidays.
In addition to trekking enthusiasts, a significant crowd of devotees was also observed at Kukke Sri Subramanya, Shree Kshethra Dharmasthala, Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari, Udupi Sri Krishna Math, and Kollur Sri Mookambika temples.
This time of the year attracts trekkers eager to explore the Kumara Parvata mountain range. A substantial gathering was seen near the entrance at Devaragadde, where forest officials conducted checks on every trekker before allowing them to proceed. It is anticipated that more trekkers will arrive on Saturday and Sunday.
