Bantwal, Jan 28: Rural police of the taluk confiscated a truck that was carrying sand illegally at Thumbay on Thursday, January 25.
Truck owner Santhosh Kotian and driver Prakash are the accused.
Police seized the truck worth Rs 4 lac and sand in it worth Rs 7,000.

The matter came to light when rural PSI Harish and team were patrolling around 5 am near Thumbay on Thursday.
