Janardhana Reddy's Judicial Custody Extended

Hyderabad, Sep 19 (IANS): A special court here Monday extended the judicial custody of former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law Srinivasa Reddy till Oct 3 in an illegal mining case.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which interrogated the duo for six days, produced them before the special court at the Nampally Criminal Court Complex amid tight security.

They were arrested by CBI from Bellary in Karnataka on Sep 5 in connection with the illegal mining case registered against Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC), owned by Janardhana Reddy, in 2009. They were brought to Hyderabad the same day and the court sent them to judicial custody till Sep 19.

The court on Sep 13 had remanded the accused to CBI custody for six days.

    The powerful Reddys of the yesterdays are totally helpless and disappointed today. But their worst depression is caused by their
    close political friends who enjoyed the PTL (part the looting)
    festival of millions of easily
    swallowed money along with the sweet laddu, but none of them can be found now. That is the real nature of political friendship zero mutual sincerity. Now the laddu business is also in serious trouble due to their arrest.

    Why doesn’t the CBI arrest all those who have benefitted in Crores and Crores from the Bellary mine-loot? All the big guns in BJP should get set and ready to go behind bars. To stop the donations coming from shady money, the Govt should pass a bill to all charitable institutions and religious donation Hundis to collect only the white money and Income Tax (TDS) Form duly filled with the donor's PAN Card number and signature to be later submitted at the IT office. The Anti-Corruption drive should start from all religious institutions or God’s own account then only it should spread to other people.

    Hyderabad.. Keep him till all fat accumulated from mining irregularities goes. Better permanently shift these who caused insult to Karnataka. Even the sword given to BJP president recently to be confiscated by Hyderabad Police including all temple gifts. God should not be part of dirty wealth of these reddys also wash gods by gomutra

    This is very bad news to B.J.P. people, so Sushma amma planning to go Malesia or Singapore...now reddy will say everything about he paid corrupted money to top B.J.P. leaders...Sushma amma collected every year corrupted money from Reddy brothers except this year.name is "gowry pooja". really she insulted Gowry pooja, her main aim is collcet money from reddy brothers...what a shame...in last parliament session she only shouted about corruption. why now she run away from india???
