Udupi, Jan 31: Kuilady Suresh Nayak, former district president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has expressed his aspiration to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a BJP candidate. Citing 32 years of dedicated service to the party, Nayak highlighted his journey from the grassroots level to holding various leadership positions within the party.
“I am not getting an opportunity to contest any elections even after shouldering responsibilities in it. I have come to know that new faces are likely to be given opportunities in Udupi – Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency this time. I have stood by the party during its difficult times and at all the stages as its sincere worker. I have requested the party elders that I should be given a ticket during the current Lok Sabha elections,” he said.
"The coastal area is a strong fortress of Hindutva. The party had won all five seats in the district during last elections and made great achievements in the state due to organizing activities and relentless efforts of its workers," said Kuilady Suresh Nayak in the press release.
