Mangaluru, Feb 5: The Anti-Drug police team from the Central Subdivision, under the guidance of police commissioner Anupam Agarwal, arrested Aditya K (29), a resident of Attavar, and Rohan Sequeira (33), a resident of Lobo Nagar, Adyar Padav, Adyar, for selling drugs on the public roadside near KMC visitor’s parking lot, Balmatta New Road, at about 9 pm on February 4.
The police confiscated 27 grams of Hydroweed Ganja worth Rs 50, 000, 2.95 kg of ganja worth Rs 1 lac, ganja hash oil worth Rs 8,000, LSD worth Rs 16,800, two digital scales, two mobile phones worth Rs 90,000, and a black Hyundai Verna car worth Rs 20 lacs, along with other goods from the accused. A case was registered at Mangaluru North Police Station under SDPS Act.
The operation was conducted under the leadership of Central Subdivision assistant police commissioner Pratap Singh Torat and Mangaluru North police inspector Ajmat Ali. The Anti-Drug Team of the Central Subdivision, led by officer Pradeep T R, and staff, operated under the guidance of deputy commissioners of police Siddarath Goel and Dinesh Kumar.
