Kundapur, Feb 6: The annual day at Vidya Academy, Moodlakatte was celebrated with much fanfare. Purnima Bhat Kamalashile was the chief guest for the programme.
Speaking on this occasion, she said, “For a school to be successful, there must be harmony among the management, teachers and parents. Children should be encouraged to be self-reliant.”
She also opined that teacher should have the ability to explain difficult things to children in a simple way and should be impartial. She gave ideas to parents about raising children. Then she conducted the graduation ceremony for the children.

The stage programme was conducted by Sangeetha. Sophia welcomed the gathering, Pavana Mahesh, administrator of the school, read the annual report. Teacher Rashma Shetty proposed a vote of thanks. Later various cultural programmes were held for children.
Dr Pratibha M Patel, principal of IMJISC, school teachers, students, parents and all staff members were present for the programme.
