Mangaluru, Feb 7: The 266th monthly repertory of Mandd Sobhan was held at Kalangan, Shaktinagar here on February 4.

NRI drama artiste Alwyn Pinto rang the bell and inaugurated the programme. Gurkar Eric Ozario and treasurer Alron Rodrigues were on the dais.

Artistes of repertory Kalakul and Mandd Sobhann performed three short plays written by late George Pinto Aikal. They were ‘Sairik’, ‘Band’ and ‘Bhizud’. Vikas Kalakul had directed the plays. Alrisha Rodrigues Kaikamba and Srajana Mathais read the poems written by George in between the dramas.

Kalakul Repertory’s Venisha, Darwin, Varshita, Joyson and Mandd Sobhann drama troupe members Sandeep, Savita, Rahul, Caran and Verina were the actors in the dramas.

Jackson D’Cunha designed the stage. Jeevan Siddi provided music and Amrin D’ Souza designed lighting. Angels Padil provided lighting and Surabhi Sounds arranged sound system.
