Massive arrangements for CM’s Feb 8 second State-level Janaspandana carried out at Vidhana Soudha

Bengaluru, Feb 7: Massive arrangements are underway for the success of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s second State-level Janaspandana programme in front of Vidhana Soudha to be held on Thursday.

Nodal officers have been appointed to handle the grievances from the public coming to Bengaluru from all over the State with department-wise counters to receive the grievances.

Separate stalls for each department have been set up and special arrangements for seating the people and take special care of senior citizens, physically challenged persons, expectant mothers and mothers attending the programme with their kids. Wheelchairs are also arranged for the specially challenged persons.

As part of the arrangements, food, drinking water as well as toilet facilities are also provided besides special bus arrangements for the people to reach Vidhana Soudha by the BMTC.

The state government anticipates at least 10,000 people to take part in the second Janaspandana.

In the first State-level Janaspandana programme held on November 27 last year, as many as 4,030 applications were received of which 3,738 have already been disposed of so far, the chief minister’s office said.
