Kadaba, Feb 9: A scooter rider was seriously injured as his scooter was hit by a tipper truck near Kolya K C Farm gate on Uppinangady-Subramanya state highway on Wednesday.
Adam N (52), resident of Ramakunja village Neeraje, is the person who is seriously injured in this collision. He was moving to Uppinangady on his scooter while a tipper truck driver who was coming from the opposite side drove the vehicle to the extreme right and hit Adam’s scooter. Adam was severely injured as he came under the wheels of the tipper. He is admitted to private hospital of Mangaluru.
A case in this connection is registered at Kadaba police station.
