New Delhi: Brother’s Death Moves Girl to Kill Herself

New Delhi, Sep 21: Following her brother's death who passed away the previous day, Tabassum (23), unable to bear her loss decided to end her life by consuming a toxic disinfectant in Chand Bagh here on Tuesday September 20.

Tabassum consumed the toxic substance inside a toilet early on Tuesday. As she complained of nausea, she was immediately admitted to a hospital where she died.

Her brother by the name Sikander, 25, a cable operator by profession was killed in a road accident on Jyoti Nagar flyover  when he was returning home along with his fiancee Nazreen and her mother Shahna Parveen Ansari (40).

As per relatives' inputs, both Sikander and Tabassum were very close to each other and were very excited about his upcoming wedding.

Tabassum was seen crying inconsolably ever since the news of her brother's death was broken to her. It is learnt that she fell unconscious on seeing his body. A neighbour present at Sikander's funeral, said that Tabassum clung to her brother's body not allowing the mourners take it away.
