Haryana, Feb 11: In an extraordinary feat, Mamta Yadav, hailing from a remote village in Basai district of Haryana, achieved success in the UPSC examination not once but twice, securing All India Rankings (AIR) 555 and 5 in her first and second attempts, respectively.

Mamta's journey is a testament to her dedication and hard work. Born to a father employed in a private company and a homemaker mother, Mamta displayed academic prowess from her early years. She pursued her education at Balwant Rai Mehta School, GK, Delhi, and later graduated from Hindu College in Delhi. Despite completing her studies, she chose to embark on the challenging path of preparing for the UPSC exams.

For four rigorous years, Mamta dedicated herself to both work and studies. Her determination led to her achieving AIR 555 in her initial attempt. However, unsatisfied with the position, as it only qualified her for the IRS and not IAS, she persevered for an additional year. Mamta's relentless efforts bore fruit as she secured an impressive AIR 5 in her second attempt. During this period, she maintained a rigorous study schedule, putting in 10 to 12 hours every day.

Mamta attributes her success to the unwavering support of her parents, who stood by her throughout her arduous journey.
