Mangalore, Sep 22:
Town Hall on Wednesday September 21 resonated with cheers and congratulatory messages as a brilliant ceremony marked the 100-day celebration of Tulu movie ‘Oriyardori Asal’.

The jam packed audience in the Town Hall, rejoiced in the opportunity of meeting the cast and crew of the movie on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Moodubidre MLA Abhaychandra Jain said that the film has erased myths such as the one that regional language films cannot do well in multiplexes. “It is, in fact, a great endeavour which is supported by people irrespective of their religion but due to respect for the Tulu language,” he stated.

On the occasion, artists of the movie, technicians, and everyone behind the success of this venture were honoured with mementos.

Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, speaking on the occasion, said that he is stunned by the support extended by the people in the coastal region and in Bangalore as well. “Experiencing ups and downs in life has taught me a lot. At this juncture, I would like to extend my well wishes to even those with whom I have fought due to some differences of opinion,” he added.

Fr Valerian Mendonca, director, Sandesha Cultural and Education Trust, former minister B Nagaraj Shetty, MP Nalin Kumar, Roopa Vijay Kumar, producer of the movie, artists Likith Shetty, Ramya Barna, and Naveen D Padil were also present.

What a perfection in arranging the celebration of success, showing gratitude to one & all directly & indirectly behind the success!!-Small or Big, starting with his great Guru Laxman Sir.
I only wished Devdas Kapikad,Ln.Kishore too to be a part of this rare celebration as it was the celebration of 'Tulu Rangabhoomi & Tulu Cinema' as a whole & not only of Vijay Kumar Kodialbail, as he rightly repeated many a times during the proceedings of the D-Day programme.
May 'Tulu' Artists show their unity by siding the petty differances -if any & join hands to express Solidarity as the sincere attempt was made by him as told to me personally by Vijay himself on the very morning of 21st Sep.2011.I fully believe him.May Best thoughts & Moral depicted & preached in Dramas & Cinemas be a reality solely to strengthen Tulu Language.
Best of Luck Vijay for your future endeavors too.V all R with U.
May God bestow strength to U to serve the Tulu Rangabhoomi & cinema as always.
Best of Luck to Devdas Kapikad,Ln.Kishore too. Please extend UR Hand First- one of the powerful Keys of' Sri Sri RaviShankerji's preachings,- an effective tool for Happiness.
    Jai Tulu Naadu.
