Mangalore Kazi Death – CBI Begins Second Phase of Investigation

Daijiworld Media Network – Kasargod (SP)

Kasargod, Sep 22: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which had failed in its efforts to make any headway relating to the death of the then Mangalore Kazi, C M Abdul Musliyar Chembarikka near his residence in Chembarikka under suspicious circumstances on February 15, 2010, has begun its fresh phase of investigation.

After the body of the aged Kazi was found a little distance away from his house on seashore, the Bekal police and crime branch police had conducted investigations. As the family of the late Kazi expressed lack of faith in these investigations which could not show any progress, CBI inquiry was ordered. The CBI team, which visited the village a number of times and conducted investigation, also failed to find any important clues.

The CBI, which had temporarily suspended investigation about two months back after failing to show any progress in the case, and after submitting its report to the director, has begun investigations again, under pressure from various quarters. Several organizations have been demanding for handing over this investigation to another unit of CBI. Accordingly, superintendent of police (SP) CBI Thiruvananthapuram unit, Rekhesh Kumar, additional SP, Nandakumar, circle inspector, Lasser, visited the residence of Kazi, apart from Kadukkakall and Chemnad, on Wednesday September 21. The team also visited the spot where the Kazi’s body was found. Three surgeons of the forensic team which conducted post mortem of the Kazi’s body also accompanied the team.

It is really shamefull to know the failure of investigation conducted by C.B.I.in respect of murder case of Mangalore Kazi. The C.B.I.which is being honoured by crores of Indian people about its way of working has lost the confidence of people.it seems to believe that there is a big conspiracy behind this case.
Our Request with C.B.I.is that it should not yield to the influence of any high dignitaries either individuals or ministres. Please conduct impartial investigation without yielding to pressure from any corner.as C.B.I.one of the most honoured machinery of Government on which people have trust and belief. We hope that the C.B.I.will bring the real culprit to light as we have full hope this time. There is a proverb that is "There is a way where there is a will". Keep it up and carry on Investigation impartially in real way.

The death of late kazi C.M.A.M.Chamberika still remained a mystery is a loophole in our judicial system. After years of gap also police of the states and CBI failed miserably to nab culprits is a big question mark!!The inquiry area covered Kerala and Karnataka state particularly focused Kasaragode,Mangalore and Puttur. As inside story tells this murder happened due to tug of war between AP and EK group among the muslims.Being said that why CBI not questions leaders of these groups....
