Mangaluru, Feb 14: In a tragic incident, a waiter employed at an ice cream parlour in Thokottu was discovered deceased by suicide on Wednesday, February 14.

The deceased, identified as Yogesh (31), hailed from Bellare Halli in Somwarpet, Kodagu district. He was found to have taken his own life inside a warehouse.

Yogesh's untimely demise occurred shortly after he had observed local youngsters playing in the warehouse yard through a window. It is reported that he left behind a death note holding himself responsible for the drastic step.

A bachelor, Yogesh had been a familiar face in the area, having worked at Rayan's cream parlour in Thokottu for the past seven years. He resided with friends in the warehouse located in Pilar.

The Ullal station police registered a case and arranged for the post-mortem examination of Yogesh's mortal remains.
