Woman Injured in Ramdev Crackdown Dies


New Delhi, Sep 26 (IANS): A 51-year-old woman who was injured in the crackdown on yoga guru Baba Ramdev's fast at Ramlila ground three and a half months ago died in hospital Monday, sources at G.B. Pant Hospital here said.

Raj Bala, was in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital since June, succumbed to her injuries Monday morning.

The woman, who was a resident of Delhi's neighbouring Gurgaon, had suffered spinal injuries in the June 4 midnight crackdown and was critical ever since. She was also paralysed due to the injuries.
